Yoga Basics

This class is perfect for those just beginning with yoga, or those who want to get a good, safe and supported stretch while learning the basics of alignment. Sequences are balanced with both floor stretches and standing poses, and should leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Vinyasa Flow (level 1/2)

In this class we link together breath and movement in a sequence designed to safely open up the body while working on flexibility and strength. The pace is a bit faster than the Yoga Basics class, with variations offered so that whether you are just beginning with yoga or are more experienced, you'll be able to get what you need out of the class.
Appropriate for all levels!

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice consisting of a sequence of long-held, supported floor poses of two to five minutes or more.
It focuses on the lower parts of the body because these areas are rich in connective tissues. The poses stretch and moderately stress the connective tissues (tendons, fascia, and ligaments) to increase circulation in the joints, and improve flexibility.

Yin is friendly to all levels of experience, and along with deep release and supported opening, invites in a sense of inner peace, calm, and profound rejuvenation through slowing down in all ways. In the practice, we often utilize props for support. Recommended props: yoga blocks, bolster or firm cushion, 1-2 folded blankets or towels.

Soundbath

We start off with a brief guided meditation, and from there you just lie down, get yourself cozy in your space and receive the sounds of the gong and crystal bowls. The different frequencies that come off the bowls and gong help to take you into a deep, restorative, restful inner experience.

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation

In this practice we combine physical postures with powerful breath work, use of mantra and meditation into a complete yogic experience. Kundalini Yoga works to effectively strengthen the nervous system, and create glandular balance in the body, while increasing mental clarity, intuition and creativity, amongst many other benefits. Within the umbrella of this practice are a wide variety of sets, meditations, and techniques for living that can greatly enhance one’s sense of well-being, clarity of purpose, and experience of vibrant health. Towards the end of each class, the gong is played to take you into a state of deep relaxation and renewal.

Prenatal Yoga

This class is appropriate for momma’s at any stage of pregnancy, and emphasizes fluid movement connected to breath, strengthening and toning the lower body and pelvic floor, and opening the chest and shoulders, while working with the hips.  Most importantly, through the practice you get to connect and move with your baby, breathe deeply and savor this unique and powerful time of life.
