PRE & POSTNATAL YOGA

Pre & Postnatal classes offer a supportive practice for women at all stages of pregnancy and post-partum to safely strengthen the body, and prepare for the changes and challenges that come with birth and motherhood. 

My classes emphasize fluid movement connected to breath, strengthening and toning the lower body and pelvic floor, and opening the chest and shoulders, while working with the hips.  Most importantly, class is a time to connect and move with your baby, breathe deeply and savor this unique and powerful time of life. In addition to yoga, meditation, and working with mantra are also techniques that can be brought into sessions for interested mammas. As a trained doula, I can offer practice with birthing positions, as well as breathing and techniques to assist with labor.

Becoming a mother is a transformative experience and initiation. Incorporating yoga, breath work, and meditation during this time is a beautiful gift to yourself and your baby, in learning how to deeply listen, hone your intuition, and create balance inside and out.
